Thanks for listening
Hello God, I called tonight To talk a little while I need a friend who'll listen To my anxiety and
trial. You see, I can't quite make it Through a day just on my own... I need your love to guide me, So I'll never feel alone. I want to ask you please to keep, My family safe and sound. Come and fill their lives with confidence For whatever fate they're bound. Give me faith, dear God, to face Each hour throughout the day, And not to worry over things I can't change in any way. I thank you God, for being home And listening to my call, For giving me such good advice When I stumble and fall.. Your number, God, is the only one That answers every time. I never get a busy signal, Never had to pay a dime. So thank you, God, for listening To my troubles and my sorrow. Good night, God, I love You , too, And I'll call again tomorrow!
P.S. Please bless all my friends and family too. Amen!
Hello ! This is God - Thanks for your message
[To the parents of our new citizen in the city of heaven,
I am writing to you in my personal capacity to inform you that a recent departed love one has successfully gain lifetime entry through the gates of heaven.
As a matter of fact, the entire city welcome the little one with trumpets and a choir of angels sang with joy, as the number 7,777,777,777,777,777,777,777,777,777,777,777,777,777 ..... citizen passed through the gates. The little one will earn an eternity of love, peace and happiness and food as long as the longest river and high as the highest mountain. I will personally be working with her and she should have no problems adapting to the environment here.
By the way, she wishes me to tell you that she will miss the time she had with you and apologise for not saying goodbye. She will always be with you and will watch over you and your family. When you are happy, she will share your joy, when you are sad, she will feel your pain and when you feel like talking to someone, she will always be there. (Ahem, of course there is me). Lastly, live for the living, care for your love ones, the people around you loves you and hope you will overcome your grief. Let me go and be happy, I will always be there as you with me no matter how far apart we are.
Yours sincerely,
GOD and Fat ;)
PS: Today, Ah Fat as he is tenderly called here by everyone ripped off the devil's red underpants while he was trying to bring in more souls to the gates of hell. I think I will award him a medal of valor for this ...... thinking about it, I still can't stop laughing ...... thank you for bringing the little one great joy and happiness and let me take care of him from today onwards. I shall see you again when your time is up and perhaps till then Ah Fat may have little Ah Fats running around. Be happy and be strong as you will be tested many times over before your time is up but know always that I will be there to welcome each and everyone of them ..... and you as well. ]

A letter that I can't email it out!
Dear XX,
The horrific and unprecedented economic downturn that has affected Asia, especially Singapore, has been swift and brutal. XXXXX of Asia has been inadvertently been directly affected and its staff feels the pain and impact by the recession as well. However, I have some concerns and feedback as a staff which I hope you can assist in answering.
The first onslaught of retrenchment has taken place in December 2008 and the departures of some of our dear colleagues have been distressing and demoralizing. It was perceived as a necessary evil for the continuation of XXX but I do feel that not all possible cost saving avenues were exhausted before the debilitating retrenchment exercise.
As the steep decline of the economy and financial markets shows no signs of abating, the abolition of the shift allowances were accepted by the Composing and Customer Service staff as our continued contribution in keeping XXX financially sustainable.
However, before the retrenchment and elimination of shift allowances were implemented, I feel that it is important for the staff to be convinced that all other cost saving alternatives were exhausted. Local companies affected by the recession as well like Singapore Airlines and Mediacorp chose to implement unpaid leave and/or shorter work week to starve off the retrenchment. This allowed all staff to retain their jobs despite a lower take home remuneration.
When the financial crisis gets more precarious and there is a need to systematically reduce the salary package of staff, the top management and senior executives of local companies like Temasek, Creative Technology and Capitaland opted to reduce their own salary by 15% - 25% to lead by example before reducing the salary packages of the rank and file employees.
With the economic outlook predicted by many experts to be a protracted recession, I am hopeful that that other avenues taken by other companies will be considered by XXX before other cost cutting measures or retrenchment is undertaken. I also hope to have the assurance that the management did consider the above measures by the local companies before they implemented the previous round of retrenchment and cost reduction exercises. This will go a long way to soothe the uncertainty and low morale in XXX currently.
Yours sincerely,
FXXXXXXX
Iggy's progress in Josiah....

Received a message from Iggy's teacher today via the communication book in his little back pack.
Here's how it goes..
[Ignatius is settling quite well in his new environment. He enjoys exploring the classroom as well as working with the various shelf materials.
Ground rules such as working with one shelf materials at a time and to return it before taking another and not to mix the materials with others have been reinforced. He is also learning to respect his friend's work and wait for his turn to work with it.
I have assessed him and he is good at number and recognition from O-10. He can sequence his numbers within 5 very well but unable to quantify yet. I have introduced done boby signals and phonic sounds and quantity within 3 (loose counting). He has quite good attention span and is responding fairly well.
Till my next update, have a nice weekend.]
I will be meeting his teacher next Thursday for more update, let's see what other comment will come.....

I am so proud of you, son.
I still remember last July when I 1st send you to Kinderland@Loyang Point. You was left alone in a new environment. No auntie Jean, no mummy but only your favorite toy car and pacifier.
You cried on the 1st day when you found out that none of us are allow to be with you in the class. You was still sobbing 3 hours later when I picked you up. You continue to cried till you vomited on the 2nd day but showing a little improvement on the 3rd day. By the 4th day, you walk into your class happily after saying bye bye to me. How amazing! You did it in such a short time!
Now that you are again be put in a new environment,
Once again, well done Iggy!
